TECNA 3680 Ultra Compact Automatic Spot Welder
The NEW 3680 combines quality, intelligence and outstanding performance, all in one ultra compact design. Fully Automatic with medium frequency inverter technology coupled with an intercooled transformer gun is the latest spot welding system from TECNA, capable of welding all auto body metals with increased power, reliability and efficiency.
The low energy consumption transformer gun represents the solution to the problems associated with low mains supply as this system delivers the high current required to ensure quality and strength in every spot weld produced. At the press of a trigger, “SMART PLUS” technology automatically measures all steel types, layer composition and steel thickness on all structures of the vehicle to produce factory quality spot welds on any combination of mild steel, HSS, UHSS and boron. All welding data and records can be easily uploaded to your smart phone or computer via Wifi or USB.

Intelligent User Interface
TECNA’s new touch screen control unit with intuitive graphic diagrams, allows very simple operation by the user. Weld quality status, automatic welding parameters set in Smart Plus mode, thickness and resistance of metals are monitored and memorised for history reports and for future job reference and printouts.
The Smart Gun
The latest TECNA 14000 amp intercooled transformer Smart Gun with lightweight lead and integrated rotating head is designed to deliver higher welding current and clamping force more efficiently compared to previous generation spot guns. Furthermore, a new patented clamping system has been developed enabling greater comfort, safety and ease of use.
Water Cooled Welding Arms
The TECNA 3680 comes standard with four fully insulated and water cooled C-Type Welding arms, which includes a 635mm arm for deeper beaver panels and boot floors. Included are interchangeable electrodes allowing eight different arm configurations for greater accessibility to difficult welding areas.
C-X Adaptor
TECNA’s optional water cooled C-X Gun Adaptor easily converts the C-Gun to an X-Gun that’s ideal for tight spaces such as radiator supports.
Single Sided Welding
The optional single sided gun and Earth lead are easily connected to the Smart Gun.
WiFi plus USB Port
WiFi connection or the USB port allows welding Data to be downloaded for weld reports and the latest software to be installed.
AIRLIFT Balancing System
The TECNA 3680 comes complete with AIRLIFT Balancing System, providing effortless weight support of the spot gun to all welding sections of the vehicle.
