AIRLIFT is an ergonomically designed weight balancing system developed and manufactured in Australia and comes standard on all new TECNA spot welders.
It allows effortless weight support of the spot gun to all welding sections of the vehicle, without detaching the suspension cable due to tail gate intrusion and height limitation, leaving no support of the spot gun, resulting in fatigue, strain or injury to the operator and possible spot gun damage.
The patented balancing system not only provides automatic spot gun positioning and weight support to and from the spot welder, but also incorporates pivotal height adjustability to allow extra high reach when welding turrets and low positioning under tail gates and boot lids when welding beaver panels and boot floors, improving work efficiency and maintaining ease of movement and weight support for a comfortable working position.

Adjustable Overhead Arm
AIRLIFT delivers a versatile height adjustment range from 150 cm to 280 cm. It can be easily locked in any position and also allows 1.8m of suspended work length.
Automatic Spot Gun Positioning
At the flick of a switch, AIRLIFT automatically positions the spot gun from the machine to the welding area without any manual assistance. Once welding is complete, simply switch back to allow the spot gun to automatically return to its rest position on the spot welder.
Integrated Weight Balancing System
The streamline design of the integrated weight balancing system provides effortless support of the spot gun without the intrusion of an overhead spring balancer.
Weight Adjustment
Adjustable tension for weight balancing to cater for light and heavy welding arms.
Swivel Action
The swivel action allows 30 degrees of left and right side movement of the overhead arm providing a 2 metre wide working span.
